Job Summary:
Directs the enterprise community relations strategy to ensure DPR’s purpose and projects positively impact the communities where work is performed. Establishes scalable frameworks, playbooks, and governance structures that guide local engagement across large and complex projects. Oversees community engagement programs that integrate social responsibility priorities, brand strategy, and local stakeholder expectations. Advises senior leadership and project teams on community risk, reputation management, and stakeholder alignment. Leads measurement and continuous improvement efforts to strengthen community partnerships and long-term impact.
Key Responsibilities:
Develops and implements a comprehensive enterprise community relations strategy aligned with global social responsibility pillars and brand objectives.
Establishes scalable tools, playbooks, and governance processes enabling project teams to effectively engage local governments, civic organizations, educators, businesses, and residents.
Directs community risk identification and grievance response processes, ensuring proactive dialogue and resolution mechanisms are in place.
Leads overall program scoping, budgeting, performance metrics, and reporting to evaluate community impact and inform leadership decision-making.
Builds and maintains strategic relationships with national and regional organizations representing civic, environmental, vocational, and industry interests.
Provides executive-level support and guidance to project leaders in launching and sustaining multi-year community engagement programs.
Manages team members and collaborates cross-functionally to align community initiatives with communications, brand, philanthropy, supplier diversity, and sustainability priorities.
Education Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in communications, public affairs, public relations, business, political science, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
Work Experience:
10+ years of experience in community affairs, public affairs, public relations, or stakeholder engagement required.
Experience developing and implementing community engagement strategies in complex or rural environments required.
3–5 years of experience leading teams or managing large-scale programs required.
Experience in construction, infrastructure, or high-technology industries preferred.
Certifications and Licenses:
