Position Overview:
The Enterprise Change Management Office (ECMO) Program Director – Corporate Functions partners with Accounting, Audit, Compliance, Legal and Risk area leadership to support business plan strategies and objectives particularly around change initiatives. As a strategic change leader, the ECMO Program Director partners with Corporate Functions (Accounting, Audit, Compliance, Legal, and Risk) to support the execution of key business initiatives. The Director leads alignment efforts—including, but not limited to, Communications, Enterprise Project Management Office (EPMO), Human Resources and Learning & Development—to leverage data, inform decision-making, and deliver sustainable change strategies for successful deployment.
Essential Responsibilities:
- (40%) Lead collaboration efforts within the Corporate Function areas to fully comprehend and support business plans, objectives, and initiatives, designing and implementing change management plans with the business strategy, timelines and governance in mind. By providing data, enterprise-level awareness, and draft strategies, assist in honing communication plans with the greatest probability of success. Continually gather information and data to support decision-making around sustainability of change initiatives.
- (40%) Lead collaboration efforts within ECMO and support areas (Learning and Development, EPMO, HR, Support Services, etc.) to acquire meaningful data, orchestrate training material development and training sessions, evaluate adoption and build and execute improvement plans for Corporate Function areas change initiatives. By utilizing these partnerships, increase expertise and meaningfully contribute to implementation and sustainability planning for Corporate Functions and other areas initiatives. Develop and maintain a change champion network, assess change risk(s) and assist in managing resistance.
- (10%) Work alongside AEVP – ECMO to establish and govern the enterprise change methodology ensuring consistent practice, language, and standards across all transformation initiatives. Work with all ECMO to ensure adoption and readiness metrics are accurate and effective and maintain an enterprise-wide view of impact. Report progress and impacts to leadership, project teams, and stakeholders.
- (10%) Ensure personal expertise level is maintained and grown through proactive and reactive professional development including skill and leadership development as well as any other focus area as assigned by AEVP.
Required Education & Experience (Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities):
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree (MBA, MA in Organizational Development, or equivalent) preferred.
- Must be seen as leader in action and attitude
- Extensive knowledge of SECU products, services and core-related systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with team members at all levels
- Passion to see others succeed
- Strong attention to detail, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience building a team or function and/or leading an enterprise-wide project or initiative is strongly preferred.
- Must have a bias toward action
- Must be able to speak English fluently.
- Must be able to cooperate and collaborate with others. Must be cordial in all interactions with members and coworkers.
- Ability to travel as needed.
