Job Summary
Learn more about the role via the video here!
If you want a job where you sit behind a desk and wait for the phone to ring, this probably isn’t it.
This is a high-volume, high-energy sales role. You will be on the phone. A lot. You’ll build relationships with freight carriers, negotiate rates, solve problems when a load goes sideways, and compete to be one of the best on the floor.
And if you’re willing to put in the work, your earning potential is uncapped.
What the Job Really Looks Like
Your day starts with open loads, active shipments, and carrier relationships to manage. From there, it’s about making connections, moving freight, and getting results.
- Source capacity: Call freight carriers across North America to secure transportation for customer shipments.
- Negotiate: Work rates in real time and close deals, sometimes with only minutes to spare.
- Problem-solve: When a truck falls off a load or something goes wrong in transit, you jump in and find a solution.
- Build your book: Develop strong carrier relationships so you become the person they want to work with again and again.
- Bring the energy: Make calls, hit daily activity goals, compete, learn, and continuously improve.
- Own your results: Your effort directly impacts your production and your paycheck.
Who Thrives Here
You don't need to be the most experienced person in the room. You need to be determined, competitive, resilient, and willing to work.
You’ll probably thrive here if:
- A carrier falling through at 4 PM makes you want to find a solution—not go home.
- You’re competitive and want to know where you rank on the board.
- You can build trust with a stranger in the first 30 seconds of a call.
- You’re comfortable hearing “no” and making the next call anyway.
- You like having measurable goals and knowing exactly what success looks like.
- You’re not looking for an easy job. You’re looking for a job where your effort can take you somewhere.
- You want to work in person, surrounded by people who are motivated, competitive, and working toward the same goal.
What You Can Earn
Starting base salary: $50,000 + uncapped commission.
Your earning potential is directly tied to your production and results. As you build your carrier network and become more successful, your income grows with you.
Top performers can reach six-figure earnings within 24 months.
There is no cap on what you can earn—and no waiting around for an annual raise to determine your next opportunity.
Do You Have What It Takes?
Freight or logistics experience is helpful, but it is not required.
We're looking for people who bring:
- Experience in a fast-paced, phone-heavy sales or customer-facing environment.
- Comfort with rejection and the persistence to keep going.
- A track record of meeting or exceeding goals.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- A competitive mindset and desire to win.
- A bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, or a related field is a plus, but not required.
If you've succeeded in retail, hospitality, recruiting, inside sales, customer service, or another high-volume environment, you may have exactly the foundation we're looking for.
We'll Teach You the Freight Business
Nobody walks in on Day 1 knowing how to move freight. That's our job to teach you.
You'll receive structured training, a defined ramp period, hands-on coaching, and support from people who have done this job themselves.
You'll learn:
- How the freight market works.
- How to source and build carrier relationships.
- How to negotiate rates.
- How to use our BlueShip technology.
- How to manage shipments and solve problems.
- How to build a book of business that drives your earnings.
Then we'll give you the tools and coaching. What you do with them is up to you.
And if you're good at it, we notice.
Top performers are recognized through programs like President's Club, and there are opportunities to grow into senior-level and leadership positions.

You won't be doing this alone.
