General Responsibilities
• Ensure reliability, integrity and accuracy of data
• Undertake detailed and thorough logistics analysis
• Ensure analysis is in line with business goals and targets
• Make recommendations based on findings and analysis
• Produce forecasts and estimates to aid financially sound decisions and cash flow planning
• Ensure logistics costs are monitored, managed and under control
• Collaborate with manager or stakeholders to determine effective solutions
• Set up and provide regular reports and data relating to specific areas of the logistics process such as supplier analysis, transportation costs
• Track logistics trends and use information to recommend changes
• Utilise knowledge and research methods to benchmark logistics activities
and to drive best practice results
• Work with Logistics and other appropriate staff to resolve issues as and when required
• Provide additional analytical support as required
Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
Finance position is responsible for the financial management, analysis, and control of international logistics operations. Its main objective is to ensure accurate cost validation, optimize logistics spending, and provide reliable financial information to support strategic decision-making.
• Conduct financial analysis of logistics operations.
• Validate and record international invoices according to established rates and agreements.
• Manage and monitor expense account control.
• Verify the correct application of logistics rates.
• Create and manage financial reserves.
• Develop and implement cost-saving strategies in logistics processes.
• Prepare financial reports and analytical models for decision-making.
• Generate financial forecasts based on trends and historical data.
• Analyze historical results to perform variance analysis, identify trends, and propose improvements.
• Design analyses and models to support future financial planning.
• Identify opportunities for improvement in operational processes with a focus on cost reduction.
• Participate in the monthly and annual financial closing process.
• Allocate expenses according to established criteria.
• Analyze closing expense estimates (IBT) to ensure their accurate provisioning.

Experiance:
• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Logistics, or related fields.
• Experience in financial analysis within logistics or supply chain environments.
• Knowledge of international invoicing and cost control.
• Ability to analyze data and develop financial models.
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and ERP systems.
• Analytical skills, attention to detail, and a focus on continuous improvement.
