What is the opportunity?
Adjudicate and manage complex, high dollar value policies in a team-oriented, multi-disciplinary, digital environment. Responsible for applying applicable policy provisions, appropriate risk management strategies, which will have an impact on the company’s financial results, reputation and regulatory risks, client relationships, and business retention.
What will you do?
- Evaluate insurance claims against policy contract terms, determine claim eligibility and validity, and calculate appropriate payment amounts for approved claims.
- Maintain excellent client relationships through responsive, high-quality service; exercise sound judgment in decision-making; and assess interactions for potential reputational impact.
- Monitor and mitigate legal, financial, and reputational risks through proactive analysis, strategic planning, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Document all relevant information with precision and consistency, and ensure strict compliance with policies and procedural requirements.
- Prioritize task and manage your workload efficiently to meet deadlines
- Collaborate with Team members and develop relationships with key partners
- Protect sensitive information and ensure confidentiality
What will you need to succeed?
Must have:
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience reviewing, evaluating, and adjudicating life insurance claims.
- Proven capacity to evaluate complex situations analytically and exercise sound professional judgment in decision-making.
- Post-secondary education or college diploma completed; preferably in healthcare, financial services, or a related field.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the capacity to handle competing demands and maintain productivity.
- Demonstrated proficiency in articulating decisions clearly and professionally through spoken and written communication while showing genuine understanding and empathy for others' concerns.

Pay Range
The expected pay range for this position is:
$46,000.00 - $70,000.00The pay range provided is for the primary work location referenced in the Additional Job Details section of this job posting. Pay ranges may differ based on location.
