About The Opportunity
We are seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Lab Technician to maintain our laboratory facilities and partner with our engineering and technician teams to support our daily operational workflow. This role serves as the backbone of our lab spaces, ensuring environments remain organized, fully equipped, and functional so engineering teams can focus on innovation.
The Impact You Will Make
Workspace Operations & Upkeep: Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization across 2–3 active lab spaces.
Tool & Facility Stewardship: Ensure tools and materials are organized, returned, and stored after team use.
Facility Logistics: Handle daily workspace resets, including clearing away excess bulk items, boxes, and materials to building recycling areas to keep floor spaces clear.
Deliveries & Intake: Serve as the point of contact for daily packages, handling, sorting, and organizing incoming shipments.
Equipment Maintenance & Care: Learn the operating status of floor machinery, perform routine care checks, and coordinate with external vendor service representatives when technical servicing is required.
Inventory & Supplies: Assist with logging spare parts, consumables, hardware, and shop supplies to ensure necessary stock is on hand.
Engineering Project Support: Assist engineers on an as-needed basis with light assembly, part post-processing, prototype setup, and basic task execution.
What You Bring to the Table
High school diploma or equivalent; interest in technology, engineering, or robotics is a plus.
High attention to detail and strong organizational habits.
Comfort with hand tools, power tools, and performing basic physical assembly.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain active/on your feet throughout standard work shifts.
Proficiency with basic digital tools (e.g., Google Docs/Sheets or basic task management systems).
Strong communication skills, high reliability, and a collaborative mindset.
This role requires 5 days a week in the office and 42.5 hrs/week.

Massachusetts: $31.75 per hour
Wonder uses geographic-specific salary structures, which means the salary offered may vary depending on where the job is located. The final salary offer will take into account various factors, such as the candidate's skills, education, training, credentials, and experience.
