Job Details:

Job Description:

What if your next project helped power the future of technology?

At Intel, you'll do more than learn, you'll contribute. You'll work side-by-side with industry leaders, gain hands-on experience on meaningful projects, and help solve real-world challenges that affect billions of people worldwide. From advanced semiconductor manufacturing to AI-powered innovations, you'll play a role in technologies that redefine how the world works, learns, and connects.

What makes Intel unique is the opportunity to see the entire technology lifecycle in action. Unlike many companies where hardware, software, and manufacturing operate separately, Intel brings them together, giving you exposure to everything from research and design to advanced semiconductor manufacturing and global deployment.

Whether you're tackling engineering challenges, improving operations, analyzing data, advancing next-generation technologies, or supporting global customers, you'll build valuable skills while contributing to innovations that enable a more sustainable and connected future.

Bring your curiosity, make an impact, and see where your ideas can take you at Intel.

What You'll Do

You'll gain hands-on experience supporting Intel's advanced semiconductor manufacturing operations while working with experienced engineers and operations teams.

  • Develop and optimize semiconductor manufacturing processes.
  • Analyze data to improve yield, quality, reliability, and factory performance.
  • Work with advanced semiconductor equipment and fabrication technologies.
  • Apply statistics, data analytics, and failure analysis to solve engineering challenges.
  • Support process control, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to safe, sustainable, and high-performing manufacturing operations.

Through these experiences, you will strengthen technical expertise in manufacturing, process optimization, data analytics, quality systems, and problem solving.

Where Your Career Could Take You

By applying to this requisition, you may be considered for future opportunities such as:

  • Industrial Engineer
  • Manufacturing Operations Manager
  • Module Engineer
  • Process Integration Engineer
  • Repair Development Engineer

Gain experiences that can open doors to future opportunities in semiconductor manufacturing, process development, factory automation, yield improvement, quality engineering, and operations leadership.

Qualifications:

Must possess the minimum qualifications below to be initially considered for this position. Experience may be gained through coursework, research, academic projects, internships, laboratory work, student organizations, leadership experiences, or other relevant experiences.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Microelectronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, or related STEM field.
  • 3+ months of experience gained through coursework, projects, research, internships, lab work, student organizations, or industry experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong academic performance with a cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
  • Experience with programming, data analysis, modeling, simulation, automation, or visualization tools such as Python, MATLAB, SQL, JMP, R, or similar.
  • Coursework, research, academic projects, or internship experience related to semiconductor technology, advanced manufacturing, process development, engineering, materials science, or data analytics.
  • Demonstrated analytical problem solving, teamwork, communication, and ability to share technical findings.

Location & Immigration Information

As you consider the opportunity to join Intel, relocation assistance may be available based on eligibility, current location, and the specifics of the role.

Job location and modality of work will be communicated at time of offer. This position is not available in the state of Colorado.

This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship.

Intel sponsors individuals for employment-based visas for positions where we experience a shortage of U.S. workers. These skills shortage roles are typically STEM positions requiring a Master's or PhD degree, or a Bachelor's degree with at least three years of post-degree related job experience. This position does not qualify for Intel sponsorship because it is either a non-STEM position, or a STEM position that only requires a Bachelor's degree and less than three years' experience.

For information on Intel's immigration sponsorship guidelines, please see: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/jobs/hiring.html

Additional Information

This application is for internship starts in Spring and Summer 2027, with consideration also given to candidates interested in year-long internship or co-op opportunities. You must be available to start work during this time frame.
