A premier hospitality property in Knoxville, Tennessee, is seeking an experienced, hands-on Food & Beverage Director to lead its dining operations, sports tavern, and event services. Position Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of all food and beverage outlets, including restaurant, bar, and banquet/event facilities.
- Direct, coach, and develop team members, fostering a positive work environment while driving accountability and high service standards.
- Manage financial performance, including labor control, food and beverage costs, budget management, and revenue growth strategies.
- Ensure strict compliance with all health department regulations, food safety protocols, and responsible alcohol service standards.
- Collaborate with sales and property leadership to coordinate events, execute promotions, and optimize menu pricing and offerings.
- Maintain high floor visibility, actively engaging with guests, managing service speed, and resolving customer inquiries promptly.
Position Requirements
- Proven management experience in full-service hotel food and beverage operations or high-volume dining environments.
- Strong leadership, staff development, and communication capabilities.
- Demonstrated experience controlling departmental labor and food/beverage expenses.
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift items up to 50 pounds during active shifts.
Compensation Package Details
- Base Salary of $60-$65,000
