Description
Volunteer Description:
Unpaid volunteer contributing time to Intermountain Healthcare in various roles.Responsibilities:
Greet and escort patients to and from therapy sessions.
Assist staff with patient flow and comfort in waiting areas.
Help organize therapy equipment, supplies, and treatment spaces.
Provide non-clinical support during therapy activities.
Offer encouragement and a friendly presence to patients of all ages.
Preferred Qualifications:
Interest in physical therapy, rehabilitation, or healthcare.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, professional, and compassionate demeanor.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow hospital policies.
Commitment:
One 3-hour shift per week.
Minimum 6-month commitment required.
