Memory Care Director
Join our dedicated team at Grand Villa of Palm Bay as the Memory Care Director and play a vital role in leading our Memory Care Unit. Located in the beautiful waterfront community of Palm Bay, Florida, Grand Villa is a premier Assisted Living and Memory Care facility committed to providing exceptional care and a supportive environment for our residents. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of the Memory Care Unit, ensuring high standards of care and safety
- Collaborate closely with the Executive Director to develop and implement care plans and operational strategies
- Supervise and support floor nurses and staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment
- Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations related to assisted living and memory care services
- Develop and maintain individualized care plans for residents with dementia and other cognitive impairments
- Lead staff training and development initiatives focused on dementia care, behavioral management, and person-centered approaches
- Monitor and improve quality assurance and resident satisfaction metrics
- Manage staffing schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to optimize unit performance
- Promote a culture of compassion, respect, and dignity for all residents and staff
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience in Assisted Living, with a focus on Memory Care, dementia, and related care issues
- Valid state-specific Assisted Living Administrator or Memory Care certification (if applicable)
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Knowledge of federal and state regulations governing assisted living and memory care facilities
- Ability to develop and implement care plans tailored to individual resident needs
- Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to enhancing residents' quality of life
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, families, and community partners
