Job Description

As a Security Officer Patrol Driver Badge Services in Austin, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, support badge-control activities, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, common areas, parking facilities, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site policies, escalating unauthorized access concerns or suspicious activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures and documenting relevant details.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift handoff communications while maintaining a professional presence.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
