Why this role matters
We are currently looking for a Site Civil Engineer for our Dandara project in Nagah Hammadi, Egypt. In this role, you will oversee all civil activities on-site, track physical progress, and report on quality, timeline, cost, and HSSE (Health, Safety, Security, and Environment). You will engage daily with site supervisors from sub-suppliers and manage contractor relationships during the execution phase.
What you’ll be doing
In this role, you will:
- Supervise all civil activities at the site, ensuring compliance with quality, time, cost, and HSSE standards.
- Manage civil construction elements such as buildings, fences, roads, foundations, sewerage, drainage, trenching, and laydown areas.
- Review and approve construction documentation submitted by contractors.
- Organize and lead pre-construction meetings with subcontractors.
- Monitor daily contractor progress and initiate corrective or recovery plans when needed.
- Manage technical queries and ensure construction follows the latest drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with quality inspectors for inspections, audits, and witness points.
- Support technical assessments, investigations, and design reviews.
- Assist with NCR processes, corrective actions, and final inspections.

What you’ll bring
- Minimum degree in Civil Engineering or Technician (preferably with specialization in Wind or Renewables).
- At least 5+ years of experience in heavy civil works (wind, roads, bridges, dams, large buildings).
- Minimum 3+ years in EPC large-scale construction projects.
- Knowledge of civil industry best practices, Quality Control Systems, and Root Cause Analysis tools.
- Ideally 1+ year of wind energy experience.
- Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written) and English.
