HireNow Staffing is recruiting an experienced Nurse Manager (RN) – Emergency Services for a direct-hire leadership opportunity in Fort Walton Beach, Florida.

This position requires a proven Emergency Department nursing leader who can oversee daily department operations, staffing, clinical performance, patient-centered care, and accountability for quality outcomes.

Important: Candidates must have 2–3 years of recent acute-care Emergency Department Manager or Supervisor experience. Charge Nurse experience alone will not qualify.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily operational and clinical leadership for Emergency Services.
• Oversee department staffing, scheduling, workflow, and nursing operations.
• Ensure high-quality, patient-centered emergency nursing care.
• Monitor nursing practices for compliance with established policies and procedures.
• Evaluate clinical performance and patient-care outcomes.
• Hold nursing staff accountable for quality, safety, and clinical standards.
• Support departmental and facility performance objectives.
• Promote effective communication and collaboration among nursing staff, physicians, clinical teams, and leadership.
• Identify opportunities to strengthen patient care, staff performance, and department operations.
• Maintain appropriate standards of professional nursing practice and regulatory compliance.

Required Qualifications

• 2–3 years of recent acute-care Emergency Department Manager/Supervisor experience.
• Charge Nurse experience alone does not satisfy the leadership requirement.
• Current Registered Professional Nurse license in the applicable state of practice and/or an active Compact RN license in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) — must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) — must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) — must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Nonviolent Crisis Intervention — must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date.
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) — must be obtained within six months of employment start date.
• Demonstrated ability to manage nursing staff and daily Emergency Department operations.
• Strong clinical judgment, accountability, communication, and leadership capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
• Progressive leadership experience within a high-acuity Emergency Department.
• Demonstrated success improving clinical quality, patient experience, staffing effectiveness, and team performance.
• Strong employee-development and performance-management capabilities.
• Experience working collaboratively with physicians and multidisciplinary clinical teams.

Compensation: $100,000–$118,000 annually

Candidates will not move forward if they have:

• Charge Nurse experience only without formal recent ER Manager/Supervisor experience.
• Less than the required 2–3 years of recent acute-care Emergency Department Manager/Supervisor experience.
• Emergency Department bedside RN experience without qualifying management/supervisory experience.
• No current qualifying RN license or active Compact RN license.
• No associate degree in nursing or RN Diploma.
• Inability to obtain the required BLS, ACLS, PALS, Nonviolent Crisis Intervention, and TNCC credentials within the specified timelines.
• A background primarily outside acute-care Emergency Services that does not demonstrate the required recent ER leadership experience.
• Jumpy employment history without reasonable explanation.
