Overview
JST is currently seeking a Scrum Master III to support our team. The Scrum Master III is a senior-level Agile professional responsible for leading, coaching, and advancing Agile practices across multiple development teams supporting the USAF. This role serves as a servant leader, Agile coach, facilitator, and change agent who promotes Agile values, Scrum principles, continuous improvement, and high-performing team dynamics.

Scrum Master III Responsibilities
- Serve as Scrum Master for multiple Agile teams
- Facilitate Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement
- Coach teams, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile best practices
- Drive Agile transformation and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support DevSecOps, CI/CD, and Lean-Agile delivery practices
- Remove impediments and manage delivery risks
- Track Agile metrics and team performance indicators
- Coordinate stakeholder communications and executive reporting
- Support scaled Agile frameworks including SAFe and Scrum of Scrums
Scrum Master III Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience supporting Agile delivery, Scrum team leadership, Agile coaching, software development programs, or technical project coordination.
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Scrum certification such as PSM or SAFe Scrum Master.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field.
- Experience serving as Scrum Master for multiple concurrent teams.
- Experience coaching technical and cross-functional teams.
- Experience supporting enterprise software development efforts.
- Experience facilitating Agile transformations and process improvement initiatives.
- Experience supporting DevSecOps, CI/CD, and cloud-hosted application environments.
- Experience working with Product Owners and managing product backlogs.
- Experience coordinating stakeholder communications and executive reporting.
- Experience supporting federal, DoD, or highly regulated programs.
- Experience utilizing Agile metrics to drive delivery improvements.
- Experience supporting scaled Agile frameworks such as SAFe.
Desired Qualifications
- SecurityX/CASP+, DAWIA Program Management Practitioner, GSEC, Security+, or a qualifying degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, or Software Engineering.
- SAFe Agilist, SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, Professional Scrum Master (PSM), ICAgile Agile Coach certifications; experience with Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, GitLab, GitHub, ServiceNow, Agile Coaching, Scrum, Kanban, Lean, DevSecOps, CI/CD, and stakeholder management.
Required Clearances and Screenings
- Ability to obtain & maintain a Secret clearance.
- MUST be able to successfully pass a drug and background check
