We are actively searching for a Data Coordinator to join the Market Intelligence team at Inspire Brands to support the team by stewarding repeatable reporting processes, populating dashboards and trackers, monitoring market and competitor activity, and ensuring source data is captured, organized, and ready for synthesis by U.S.-based Market Intelligence. 

 

 

DETAILED JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Maintain recurring period reporting by refreshing data and flagging notable changes. 

  • Track and document new products, promotions, and competitor activity across designated sources. 

  • Conduct case study analysis, including supporting metrics, charts, promotional context, and competitor actions. 

  • Refresh ad spend and share-of-voice reporting inputs for weekly explanations, including spend by brand, category, product, media channel, or priority market where available. 

  • Build and update tactical competitive landscape grids for specific product areas. 

  • Review daily industry reports, news, and source feeds; upload, tag, document, and flag relevant content for inclusion in weekly and monthly synthesis. 

  • Capture and update state-of-the-industry KPIs as they are released, maintaining charts and source documentation across consumer, restaurant, macro, and category indicators. 

  • Support earnings workflows by updating consensus estimates, documenting reported KPIs, refreshing charts, and organizing relevant call or filing takeaways for team review. 

  • Maintain company fact packs, comparative analysis files, value equation trackers, SWOT inputs, FDD data captures, and other recurring reference materials. 

 

Experience:  

  • 1-3 years of experience in market intelligence, competitive intelligence, analytics, reporting, data operations, research support, or a related execution-focused role. 

  • Experience maintaining trackers, refreshing recurring reports, validating data, documenting sources, or supporting repeatable business intelligence processes preferred. 

 

Other Skills/ Abilities: 

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to accurately update recurring reports, trackers, charts, and source documentation on tight timelines. 

  • Comfortable working with structured data, spreadsheets, dashboards, and standardized templates to organize competitive and industry information. 

  • Able to follow established processes, manage recurring deadlines, and escalate data questions or unusual findings for review. 

  • Demonstrated ability to monitor competitors, products, promotions, news, earnings releases, filings, and industry data sources with consistency and accuracy. 

  • Basic ability to summarize factual observations and organize inputs for senior team members to develop narrative, implications, and “so what” commentary. 

  • Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with syndicated data tools, media tracking tools, market share sources, or research platforms is a plus. 

  • Clear written communication skills and ability to document updates, sources, assumptions, and open questions in a concise, organized manner. 

  • Ability to work effectively with U.S.-based stakeholders and manage handoffs across time zones, including early-morning or deadline-driven reporting cycles when needed.
