The Human Resources Representative will be responsible for administrative HR support and front-line HR assistance including guidance to employees and managers on general HR and employee relations matters.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees, including communication, follow-up and support with hiring managers and employees
- Support and maintain Form I-9 compliance, verification, tracking, retention, and audit readiness in accordance with applicable federal requirements and company procedures
- Provide HR support to managers and employees regarding general policy questions, employee relations intake, workplace concerns, and appropriate routing of sensitive matters to HR leadership or HR Business Partners
- Assist HR Business Partners with key HR processes, projects, reporting, documentation, and follow-up activities to help drive timely completion and support business objectives
- Produce, review, and analyze reports in Microsoft Excel to support operations, compliance tracking, workforce planning and departmental needs
- Maintain and administer Service Award Program throughout Company
- Maintain and administer Federal, State and local compliance notices throughout U.S. locations
- Coordinate employment related screening, testing and documentation processes in accordance with Company policies and applicable regulations
- Create, update, and maintain HR procedures, process documentation and Standard Operating Procedures to support consistency and efficiency
- Enter and maintain new hire data in HR system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, confidentiality, and timely updates to employee information
- Perform HR administrative duties, including, but not limited to, maintaining employee records, organizing documentation, processing department invoices, and supporting daily HR initiatives to meet operational and organizational objectives
- Perform other duties, projects and responsibilities as assigned in support to departmental and organizational objectives
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to provide responsive support to managers and employees
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel; ability to create, review, and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and tracking tools
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, organization, follow-through, and ability to maintain timely updates in HR systems and records
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Ability to follow established guidelines, policies, procedures, and escalation processes for HR and employee relations matters
PREFERRED:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- PHR, SHRM-CP, or related HR certification
- Prior experience using an HR database
- Working knowledge of onboarding processes, employee recordkeeping, Form I-9 requirements, and general HR compliance practices
