Your Role in Carbery's Success
Reporting to Maintenance Management, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of process and plant equipment and optimising plant performance.How You Will Contribute
Reporting to Maintenance Management, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a wide range of process and plant equipment and optimising plant performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintenance to the highest standards of health and safety, regulatory and GMP/hygiene standards.
- Integrate as part of the Maintenance team to deliver support for operations.
- Deliver with the other Maintenance team members a reliable centred maintenance function with best practices including preventative maintenance.
- Daily reporting of maintenance activities.
- Updating and utilisation of the PEMAC system (CMMS) including spare parts used.
- Contribute to problem solving and continuous improvement activities.
- Trouble shooting and fault finding.
- Isolate equipment as per LOTO procedures.
Key Requirements:
- Qualified Electrician.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a maintenance electrician ideally in a food/highly regulated environment.
- Proven problem-solving skills.
- Experience of preventative maintenance systems.
- Experience with PEMAC or other CMMS.
- Flexible attitude.
- Willing to work shift.
- Keen to learn and develop.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of MV systems would be advantageous.
- Knowledge of ATEX regulations is another distinct advantage
