As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Alarm Panel Monitoring in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, respond to alarms, and help maintain a secure environment for employees and visitors. - Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology, media, and telecommunications location.
- Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of office, warehouse, data handling, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity or facility concerns.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as required by site procedures, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.
- Communicate professionally with employees, visitors, contractors, and Allied Universal leadership regarding security-related matters and site operations.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
- CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
- Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Alarm panel experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
