Ontic, a leading licensor and manufacturer of complex engineering parts for the global aerospace and defence industries, are now recruiting for a Warehouse Supervisor to join our Logistics & Warehouse Team where you'll support & be responsible for our Team of 5-10 Stores Operatives over a 2 shift operation.
This role will be based at our Staverton Site in Cheltenham. We operate 37 hours per week and, as part of our Destination 2030 growth strategy, we will be transitioning to a 2 shift operation.

The Role:
As our Aerospace Warehouse Supervisor, you will be one of two Supervisors, leading a shift-based team of 5-10 stores operatives through an exciting period of rapid business growth and operational transformation, including a site relocation and transition to a double-shift pattern.
You will be responsible for developing a high-performing team capable of adopting a new Warehouse Management System (WMS), digitising day-to-day operations, and driving performance using clear KPIs.
You will champion an exemplary culture of health and safety, be responsible for out of Hours Site & Team Governance and ensuring all materials are handled securely and in strict compliance with aerospace quality requirements. Ultimately, your leadership will ensure seamless inventory accuracy and a safe, efficient working environment that directly accelerates our growth here at Ontic.
About you:

To be successful in this role you'll need to have: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent vocational qualification) in Warehousing, Logistics, or Team Leading.
Required: Valid IOSH Managing Safely certificate or equivalent, formal health and safety training. A valid Counterbalance / Reach Forklift Truck (FLT) License is not essential but highly desirable.
Critical to the role is a background including Supervisor or Team Leadership, within a Stores, Warehouse, Logistics environment. You will have experience & understanding of working within a highly regulated manufacturing sector [Aerospace, Automotive, Pharmaceutical]
Necessary: Demonstrable track record of enforcing strict workplace health and safety protocols and conducting shift safety briefings.
You will have Hands-on experience working with a modern WMS or ERP system for inventory tracking working within or managing a structured shift rotation pattern. We are also keen to meet candidates who have navigated significant change management projects, such as a site relocation or software implementation.
