Nocturnist Intermediate Care Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner Needed for Elliot Health System, Manchester

Elliot Health System (EHS) is seeking an Intermediate Care Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our Critical Care Service line. The Intermediate Care Unit is a 12-bed closed unit which operates 24/7 under the direction of the Critical Care Service. The position will be part of in-house overnight critical care service care team triad consisting of 2 advanced practice providers and one board certified intensivist from 1700-0700. Minimum experience: 2-years in an Acute Care setting

What do we want to add for clinical description of work?

• Primary management of patients admitted to the IMC
• Participation in admissions and transfers to the service and consultative evaluation of patients on other inpatient units as needed and as directed by the team leader/intensivist
• Participate in nightly team-based rounds
• Documentation in the electronic medical record as appropriate
• Participation/engagement with Critical Care Service QA/QI activities as requested by the Medical Director
