We are searching for the best talent for Material Handler.

 

Purpose: Performs a variety of duties to receive, distribute, assemble and store finished goods into sales warehouse or customer locations as directed. Will also perform materials receipt, disbursement and related activities as directed.

 

You will be responsible for:

·       Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

·       Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.

·       Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.

·       Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items and distributes items to production workers or assembly line.

·       Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping department.

·       Marks materials with identifying information. 

·       Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed. 

·       Uses computer to enter records.

·       Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.

·       Completes requisition forms to order supplies from other plant departments.  Maintains inventory records.

·       Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level

·       Demonstrate independent understanding and application of core GMP fundamentals, including but not limited to: Data Integrity (DI), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).

·       Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures

·       Performs other duties assigned as needed

 

Qualifications / Requirements:

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION*

·       High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

·       Distribution/Warehousing experience preferred.

 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS*

·       Ability to carry out routine tasks with general instruction and new tasks with detailed instruction.

·       Work well in a team environment.

• Forklift experience is preferred.
