Mission:
We are looking for an Inside Sales, based in Paris, to drive business growth across Southern Europe (Italy, Spain and Portugal) by identifying, engaging and qualifying opportunities within the capital markets industry.
As a key member of our commercial organization, you will be responsible for generating leads to support sales development across Business Units. The job focuses on identifying potential buyers, managing early-stage interactions, and ensuring qualifications of leads with the Sales teams.
In one-line : Executes structured lead generation and qualification activities to support the sales pipeline to expand Murex's presence across banks, asset managers, exchanges, clearing houses, and other financial institutions.

Key responsibilities:
- Identify and engage prospective clients across the capital markets ecosystem through outbound prospecting, targeted campaigns, industry events, social selling and inbound lead management.
- Generate qualified opportunities by understanding client challenges related to trading, treasury, risk management, operations, collateral management and regulatory change.
- Assess and qualify opportunities in collaboration with Business Development, Sales, Pre-sales and Client Management teams to ensure alignment with strategic growth priorities.
- Develop relationships with senior stakeholders within financial institutions, including business, operational and technology decision-makers.
- Support the growth of Murex's footprint by identifying opportunities within new accounts, new business lines and emerging market segments.
- Maintain a strong understanding of capital markets trends, competitive developments and market initiatives to support prospecting effectiveness and opportunity generation.
- Collaborate with regional commercial teams to define target accounts, prioritize market coverage and refine qualification strategies.
- Ensure accurate tracking of activities, pipeline progression and opportunity metrics within CRM systems, maintaining high standards of data quality and reporting discipline.
- Contribute market intelligence and client feedback to support the continuous improvement of commercial strategies, campaigns and value propositions.
- Facilitate the transition of qualified opportunities to Sales teams through structured handovers and clear communication of client context, needs and business drivers.
What We're Looking For:
We are looking for a proactive business development professional who combines commercial drive with an interest in financial markets and technology. You will bring:
- 4 to 5 years of experience in Inside Sales, Business Development, Sales Development or a similar commercial role.
- Fluency in English and Italian and/or Spanish.
- Experience selling to or engaging with banks, asset managers, financial institutions, fintech firms or capital markets participants ideally in one and more of the following countries Spain, Italy and Portugal
- A proven ability to identify, engage and qualify senior stakeholders within complex B2B environments.
- Strong communication, networking and relationship-building skills with the confidence to interact with senior decision-makers.
- A data-driven and KPI-oriented mindset with a strong focus on opportunity creation and pipeline growth.
- The ability to work effectively across Sales, Pre-sales and Client Management teams.
