Titan Virginia Ready Mix has an immediate opening for an Inside Sales Representative in Norfolk, VA.  This non exempt position will report to the Sales Manager.  The primary function of this role is to promote concrete sales and products, sustain and build customer relationships, and to provide technical support to customers on site.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Facilitate the expansion of sales to existing underutilized customers thru frequent contact and support
• Develop and maintain information on market conditions, territory intelligence, identifying market size, customers and competitors
• Support sales effort by supplying customers with information including new products/services, price and supply trends
• Provide quotes to customers within provided parameters
• Update and maintain sales reports to ensure up to data information is tracked
• Maintain customer accounts within software systems
• Develop extensive working relationships with customers and other departments
• Provide exceptional customer service by resolving customer issues, addressing inquiries, and delivering timely, effective assistance
• Responsible for special projects and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Excellent Business/Financial Acumen – ability to specify and capture business opportunities and make vital financial and business decisions that drive high levels of business results
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills along with a customer focused philosophy
• Possess 1-3 years construction industry experience, knowledge of ready-mix industry preferred
• Advanced computer proficiency and knowledge of MS Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
• Excellent planning, attention to detail, and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize responsibilities
• Ability to build effective spreadsheets and analyze data  
• Proven ability to perform statistical analysis (averages, trends, etc.) and work under tight deadlines
• Exceptional customer service skills; responsive to concerns and timely follow-up
• High school diploma or equivalent, College degree preferred

• Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required
