Pay Rate: $16.26 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to associates, drivers, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and authorized access, maintain visitor and delivery records, and direct individuals to appropriate areas in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, gates, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Communicate professionally with site leadership and Allied Universal supervision regarding access issues, unusual activity, and security-related incidents.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience are required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
