Tender Engineer - Electrical

## What you’ll do:

"The Electrical Tendering Engineer is responsible for managing project tenders from initial review through quotation submission and project handover, delivering technically compliant, commercially competitive, and profitable solutions.

The role supports strategic projects by evaluating customer requirements, developing technical and commercial proposals, managing Comply, Deviate, and Exception (CDE) items, and coordinating with internal teams and external suppliers. Leveraging strong expertise in LV, MV, power distribution, backup power, and data center applications, the engineer ensures alignment between customer needs and Eaton solutions.

The position works closely with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Manufacturing teams to maximize bid success, ensure smooth project handover, and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle."

"• Manage project tenders from opportunity qualification through quotation submission and project handover.

• Review customer requirements, specifications, and tender documentation to develop compliant and competitive solutions.
• Prepare technical and commercial offers, quotations, and pricing proposals for LV, MV, power distribution, backup power, and data center projects.
• Manage technical clarifications and Comply, Deviate, and Exception (CDE) requirements.
• Collaborate with Sales, Business Units, Engineering, Operations, suppliers, and project teams to deliver winning bids.
• Support opportunity qualification, bid strategy, risk assessment, and cost optimization to maximize profitability and win rates.
• Engage with customers, consultants, and key stakeholders to understand requirements and present Eaton solutions.
• Build and maintain strong technical expertise in Eaton products, applications, and market segments.
• Ensure seamless handover of awarded projects and provide technical support throughout the project lifecycle."

## Qualifications:

Electrical Engineering Degree and/or equivalent industry experience.

"• 7+ years of experience in Electrical Engineering, with a focus on power distribution, backup power, and critical power systems.

## Skills:

• Experience in tendering, estimating, quotations, or project execution for large-scale commercial, industrial, or data center projects.
• Strong knowledge of LV and MV electrical systems; data center experience is an advantage."

"• Strong knowledge of LV and MV power distribution, UPS, backup power, and critical power systems, with data center experience preferred.

• Familiarity with Eaton products or equivalent electrical solutions, including switchgear, LV assemblies, UPS, and power distribution equipment.
• Strong technical, problem-solving, and commercial acumen with the ability to evaluate solutions and resolve complex challenges.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, customer engagement, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and align technical decisions.
• Experience with SCADA and control systems is an advantage.
• Fluent in English with strong intercultural awareness, professional integrity, and a commitment to ethical business practices. • Site experience on installation, testing and comissioning will be preferable."
