Provides primary support for academic scheduling and classroom/room reservations within the Registrar’s Office, including assisting with course scheduling, room assignments, room usage, and related scheduling processes. Provides additional support to other Registrar’s Office functions, as needed, including graduation application processing, commencement, student records, customer service initiatives, reporting, course registration, grading, and assisting students with the enrollment process. Work hours: Mon-Fri; 8 AM-5 PM or as work requirements indicate; occasional need for after-hours and weekend work. Serves as a Campus Security Authority (CSA).
Responsibilities:
60% - Supports and coordinates academic scheduling and room reservation processes for the University, serving as a primary point of contact for academic departments regarding course scheduling and related needs. Assists departments with the development and maintenance of academic schedules, including section creation, schedule updates and edits, meeting patterns, classroom and room assignments, and final examination scheduling. Coordinates room reservations and space utilization for university events and activities, ensuring appropriate use of campus facilities and resolving scheduling or space-related conflicts. Provides guidance and support to departments, department heads, deans, and other university personnel regarding academic scheduling, room reservations, policies, procedures, and requirements. Reviews scheduling and room reservation requests for accuracy and compliance with established guidelines and assists in resolving complex scheduling, space, and room assignment issues. Provides training and guidance to internal staff and university departments on academic scheduling, room reservation processes, systems, and procedures.
15% - Works with student workers to assist in answering emails and phone calls pertaining to academic scheduling, rooms reservations, and other Registrar’s Office operations and business processes. Provides exemplary customer service to students, faculty, and staff that contact the Registrar's Office seeking assistance.
10% - Supports state reporting requirements related to classroom and room utilization by maintaining accurate and up-to-date room information, including room capacities, room characteristics, and space assignments. Reviews and verifies room and scheduling data for accuracy and completeness to ensure compliance with state reporting requirements and supports the preparation of accurate room utilization reports.
10% - Assists with providing accurate and up-to-date information on the university academic scheduling website and coordinates changes with Conferencing & Event Services for room reservation purposes.
5% - Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
- One year of related experience.

Salary: Commensurate with experience
Salary Range:
The target base annual salary range is $41,000 up to $50,761 and may be negotiable based on funding availability and candidate experience/skillset in relation to the minimum requirements of this position.
