Job Family Definition
Responsible for the execution of commodity and category strategies worldwide. Executes company procurement strategies, policies, and tactics required to achieve business objectives.
Ensures execution of procurement channel and category strategies in support of internal company projects and third-party products and services when incorporated into customer solutions, including purchasing and buying activities.
Coordinates purchasing activities with engineering and manufacturing departments, strategic procurement, and company business units to maintain inventories at planned levels, where applicable; ensure continuity and assurance of supply; maintain service levels; meet business requirements; and mitigate risk. Responsibilities may also include inventory management.
At the non-exempt level, the role may assist with establishing and maintaining the production control system.

Responsibilities
- Provides expertise for priority or new assignments with strategic implications across the organization, including leading or participating in cross-functional teams.
- Focuses on development activities and the introduction of new processes, program solutions, and methods.
- Leads the development of program and/or process solutions to meet business objectives and deliver continuous improvements.
- Monitors and analyzes assigned programs, process solutions, key metrics, and process-oriented activities, focusing on improving existing areas while exercising significant independent judgment.
- Works across cross-functional teams to develop solutions and maintain and enhance current business processes, with a focus on specific business segments.
- Provides independent strategic development, analytical expertise, and strategic support to advance organizational goals.
- Provides mentoring and guidance to lower-level contributors.
- Develops and executes strategic plans and initiatives across the company's businesses and/or geographic regions.
Education and Experience Required
- First-level university degree or equivalent professional experience; advanced university degree preferred.
- Typically 6–10 years of experience in a procurement or supply chain function.
- Global procurement experience strongly preferred.

- Mastery of English and the applicable local language.
