Overview
The Corporate Manager of Business Office Administration provides enterprise-wide functional leadership for business office operations across Aegis Living communities. This role establishes training, best practices, policies, procedures, process standards, and compliance expectations that promote accuracy, consistency, efficiency, and operational excellence. Community Business Office Managers do not report directly to this position; however, they receive significant functional direction, guidance, and support from this role in partnership with community and regional leadership.
Responsibilities
POLICY & COMPLIANCE
- Partner with Accounting, Payroll, Human Resources, Regulatory, Risk Management, Operations, and IT to develop and maintain policies and procedures.
- Translate requirements into clear community-level practices and reinforce consistent policy application.
- Monitor compliance, analyze trends, communicate risks, and support corrective action plans and audit readiness.
COMMUNICATION & PARTNERSHIP
- Lead regular Business Office Manager meetings and provide timely functional updates and resources.
- Build strong partnerships with community, regional, and Home Office leaders to resolve issues and drive continuous improvement.
- Maintain a centralized library of current policies, procedures, standards, and training resources.
SYSTEMS & ACCESS
- Support appropriate system access and permissions and coordinate guidance for systems used by Business Office Managers.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated senior-level business office experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a multi-site environment.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration or related fields strongly preferred.
- Experience developing training, policies, procedures, workflows, and operational standards.
- Strong analytical, project-management, facilitation, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of payroll, HR administration, financial processes, recordkeeping, regulatory tracking, and administrative controls.
- Proven ability to influence, coach, and lead through relationships without direct reporting authority.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, learning platforms, payroll and HR systems; ability to travel as business needs require.
