Project Manager/Senior Project Manager required to join a leading commercial construction contractor based in Austin, TX.
The successful Project Manager/Senior Project Manager will join an established commercial construction contractor, taking responsibility for the successful delivery of high-quality construction projects across Austin, TX.
The Project Manager/Senior Project Manager will manage projects from pre-construction through completion, overseeing project schedules, budgets, subcontractors, quality control, documentation, and client relationships. Working closely with Owners, Architects, Engineers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors, the successful candidate will ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in line with contractual requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager/Senior Project Manager to work on complex commercial projects across the technology, investment, life-science and Mission Critical sectors managing tenant improvement and ground-up construction projects while gaining exposure to leading clients, design teams, and specialist subcontractor trades throughout Austin.

Project Manager/Senior Project Manager Role:
- Manage commercial construction projects from pre-construction through completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, cost control, estimating, change orders, and financial reporting.
- Coordinate with Owners, Architects, Engineers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
- Manage RFIs, submittals, project documentation, drawings, and change order processes.
- Lead project meetings, monitor progress, identify risks, and implement solutions to maintain project schedules.
- Support pre-construction activities including bid reviews, scope reviews, constructability reviews, and project planning.
- Manage interior tenant improvement projects and/or ground-up commercial construction projects.
- Coordinate subcontractor activities and work closely with specialist trades to resolve technical issues and maintain project quality.
- Build strong relationships with clients and project teams while providing leadership and support throughout successful project delivery.
- Utilise construction technology platforms such as PlanGrid and project scheduling tools.
- Based in Austin, TX.
Project Manager/Senior Project Manager requirements:
- Experience as a Project Manager, Assistant Project Manager, or Project Engineer within commercial construction.
- Proven experience managing commercial construction projects, including tenant improvements and/or ground-up construction.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building methods, materials, and project delivery methods.
- Experience with project scheduling, budgeting, cost control, subcontractor coordination, and client communication.
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, project management software, scheduling tools, and estimating software.
- Experience with construction technology platforms such as PlanGrid preferred.
- Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related degree preferred.
- Experience within technology, life-science, advanced facility, or complex commercial environments is beneficial.
- Based in Austin, TX or willing to work across local project locations.
