Senior Accountant (Onsite, Gujrat, PKR Salary)

Requirements:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in accounting, bookkeeping, financial reporting, taxation, and payroll management.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, and month/year-end closing.
• Proven experience preparing and filing tax returns and ensuring compliance with applicable tax regulations.
• Strong experience managing payroll, employee deductions, benefits, and related statutory requirements.
• Experience preparing financial statements, management reports, cash flow statements, and supporting schedules.
• Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and financial reporting tools.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with excellent attention to detail, accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities while ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, payments, bank reconciliations, and account reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, management reports, and supporting schedules.
• Manage tax return preparation, filing, documentation, and coordination on taxation and regulatory compliance matters.
• Process and oversee monthly payroll, employee deductions, benefits, and related accounting entries.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Maintain proper accounting controls, documentation, and audit-ready records while supporting internal and external audits.
• Monitor cash flows, receivables, payables, and financial transactions and provide timely financial information to management for decision-making.
