As a Psychological Operations (PSYOP) planner, you use your specialized technical skills and experience and your attention to detail to develop products to give your customer the information and expertise they need. If you have strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset, we have an opportunity to use those skills to support our warfighters.
As a PSYOP planner, you’ll help your customer understand their information environment. You’ll serve as lead for a Combatant Command's PSYOP program, conduct deliberate and contingency PSYOP planning, functional plan development and validation, coordination, and integration in conjunction with higher headquarters, components, DoW, and U.S. government interagency actors. You’ll provide PSYOP-relevant quality input to strategic and operational plans, contingency plans, operations orders, execution orders, fragmentary orders, and strategic operational analysis reports and provide doctrine, operations, policy, and authorities subject matter expertise and integration of lessons learned to support senior leader decision making. You’ll conduct and validate research and analysis and prepare information papers, decision papers, and briefings to inform customer leadership. As the authority on your topic, your customer will look to you for time critical recommendations, often under pressure. This is a chance to grow your expertise and broaden your skillset. You Have:
- 7+ years of experience with PSYOP planning
- Experience employing the Joint Planning Cycle
- Experience briefing senior leadership
- Experience staffing PSYOP products through approval processes, including virtual contact with multiple stakeholders
- Experience with complex problem-solving and using appropriate methodologies
- TS/SCI clearance
- Bachelor's degree
- Completion of Command and General Staff College or U.S. Army Sergeants Major Academy
Nice If You Have:
- Experience with security cooperation planning and operations
- Experience at the Combatant Command level
- Experience with USEUCOM AOR operations
- Experience coordinating with NATO, allies, and partners
- Experience with Command and Control of the Information Environment (C2IE)
- Experience using Palantir tools, including Foundry, and Agentic AI tools for planning
- Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, including professional publication-quality writing and technical editing skills
- Master's degree
- Graduate of Senior Service College
- Project Management Professional Certification
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
