Here at Long-Term Teachers, we work with a number of Primary Schools across Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Weston that are seeking Teachers to join their teams from October.

The Role

As an ECT, you will have the opportunity to work with a member of staff within the school to be observed and gain feedback to continue your professional development.

You will take on the responsibilities of the Class Teacher, planning engaging lessons, assessing children’s development and communicating clearly with parents.

However, you will be doing this in a safe environment where you can explore and develop personally too.

You will be expected to:

  • Be excited and passionate about starting your Teaching career.
  • Be willing to learn and develop
  • Work closely with other members of staff to provide an engaging learning environment for the children.
  • Follow policies closely and adapt to some curriculums.
  • Have strong behaviour management techniques.
