Hospitalist Medical Director

Overview

Lead the Hospital Medicine team at St. Mary's Medical Center and play a key role in critical inpatient care.  

 

Responsibilities

Position Highlights

• 7on/7off Block Schedule
• 12-Hour Shifts
• 7am-7pm
• 20 Patients/Shift
• Open ICU
• No Procedures
• 90% Clinical/10% Administrative role
• Epic EMR

Requirements

• Willingness to participate in IMGME activities

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Board Certified in Internal Medicine
• Minimum three years of post-residency hospitalist experience
• Demonstrated experience teaching and mentoring medical students and residents
• MD or DO with unrestricted Missouri medical license (or eligible)
• Current DEA registration
• BLS or ACLS certification

This position is not open to new graduates.
