Description
Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Senior Inventory Accounting Analyst.
## What you’ll do:
Lead inventory governance, analytics and optimization initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve inventory health, working capital, material availability and process compliance through data-driven decision making and cross-functional collaboration.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and analyze inventory performance metrics, including Inventory Turns, Days on Hand (DOH), Inventory Accuracy, Excess & Obsolete (E&O) and Inventory aging
- Lead cross-functional reviews with Planning, Procurement, Operations, Warehouse, and Finance teams to address inventory risks and execute corrective actions.
- Establish, monitor, and continuously improve inventory control processes to ensure compliance with corporate policies and audit requirements.
- Perform root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies, shortages, excess inventory, and transactional errors, and lead corrective action implementation.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and business intelligence tools that provide visibility into inventory performance and support management decision-making.
- Drive initiatives focused on inventory optimization, working capital improvement, and material flow effectiveness.
- Monitor inventory health and proactively identify slow-moving, inactive, excess, and obsolete materials.
- Facilitate inventory governance meetings, track action plans, and ensure accountability for inventory-related improvements.
- Partner with Supply Chain, Finance, and Operations teams to quantify financial benefits generated from inventory optimization initiatives.
- Support physical inventories, and inventory accuracy improvement projects.
- Ensure master data integrity related to inventory planning and warehouse management processes.
- Generate periodic executive-level reports highlighting inventory risks, opportunities, trends, and performance against targets.
## Qualifications:
Education level required
Bachelor's Degree, Industrial Engineering, Business
Intermediate English
Years and area of experience required
5+ years of experience in Inventory Management
Technical knowledge
Advanced Inventory Management principles, SAP ERP, Data visualization and reporting tools, Statistical analysis and data-driven decision making
