Signage Service Technician / Site Survey Specialist

If you're ready to take the next step in your career, this is your opportunity to lead, train, and mentor a team while applying your technical knowledge and field experience.</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p><strong><span style="font-size:18.0pt">Sign Service & Repair</span></strong></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Perform service calls on illuminated and non-illuminated signs.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, lighting, and structural sign issues.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Replace LED modules, power supplies, lamps, ballasts, and other sign components.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Perform preventive maintenance and repairs.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Complete service documentation and provide detailed reports.</span></p><p> </p><p><strong><span style="font-size:18.0pt">Site Surveys</span></strong></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Conduct site surveys for new and existing signage projects.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Take accurate measurements and photographs.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Verify field conditions, utility locations, mounting surfaces, and access requirements.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Identify potential manufacturing and installation challenges and provide recommendations.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Communicate survey findings to project managers, designers, and estimators</span><span style="font-size:10.0pt">.</span></p><p> </p><p><strong><span style="font-size:18.0pt">Project Checkouts & Quality Verification</span></strong></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Verify completed installations meet project specifications and customer expectations.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Conduct final project inspections and punch-list reviews.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Ensure signage is functioning properly and installed safely.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Document completion photos and field reports.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Meet with municipal inspectors for open-hole, electrical, and final inspections.</span></p><p> </p><p><strong><span style="font-size:18.0pt">Additional Responsibilities</span></strong></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Operate company vehicles safely and professionally.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Follow OSHA and company safety procedures.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Assist installation crews as needed.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Communicate professionally with customers, contractors, property managers, and coworkers.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Support project teams by providing field expertise and technical recommendations.</span></p><p> </p><p><strong><span style="font-size:18.0pt">Qualifications</span></strong></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Experience in the sign industry, electrical service, construction, maintenance, or related field preferred.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and site plans.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Basic electrical troubleshooting knowledge preferred.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Comfortable working at heights and using ladders, lifts, and fall protection equipment.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in various weather conditions.</span></p><p> </p><p><strong><span style="font-size:18.0pt">Preferred (Bonus) Qualifications</span></strong></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Two or more years of sign industry, installation, or service experience.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Crane certification.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Welding certification.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt">Electrical certification.</span></p><p> </p><p><span style="font-size:11.0pt"><br> If you enjoy solving problems, working in the field, and helping bring signage projects to life, we'd love to hear from you.</span></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p>
