YOU WILL BE:
The Manager, Cross Category eCommerce is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving the global site merchandising vision, optimizing the digital conversion funnel, and elevating the end-to-end customer journey across all device types. Operating at the intersection of commercial strategy, digital user experience, and technology, this individual architects global site turnover initiatives, leads end-to-end promotional campaign strategies, and oversees site discovery; continuously auditing search, PLP performance, and product recommendations. As a core people leader, the Manager directly mentors and guides two digital specialists, translating overarching strategy into seamless daily execution. Anchored in data-driven decision-making, this role partners closely with Category Growth, Product Management, Creative, Marketing, and Leadership to champion a site experience that eliminates friction, maximizes conversion rates, and drives sustainable top-line revenue.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Develop and Execute Site Merchandising Strategy: Define and implement a comprehensive global site merchandising strategy that aligns with overall business goals, category strategies, and marketing initiatives to maximize online sales, conversion rates, and average order value. Lead global site turnover initiatives.
- Lead & Manage Specialists: Directly manage, mentor, and develop two digital specialists. Establish operational workflows, delegate tasks effectively, and guide their daily execution to bring site strategies and promotional blueprints to life.
- Promotional Strategy, Execution & Governance: Architect end-to-end promotional content and navigation strategies for promotional events across all device types. Work cross-functionally with creative and marketing to bring your strategy to life across site placements, product tagging, and site navigation. Own quarterly review process to continuously refine promotional placements, creative content, and the sale site experience.
- Search, PLP & Discovery Experience Monitoring: Continuously audit live site search, PLP performance, and navigation across device types to identify friction points and critical issues. Partner closely with the product team to route fixes, advocate for enhancements, and influence the site experience.
- Conversion Funnel Management & Optimization: Maintain holistic ownership of the end-to-end digital conversion funnel. Analyze customer drop-off points from landing through checkout, championing A/B testing and UX enhancements to improve discovery, recommendation relevance, and checkout conversion.
- Contribute to Website Enhancements: Provide input and collaborate with the ecommerce and technology teams on website enhancements and features that will improve the overall online shopping experience and support merchandising goals.
- Manage and Optimize Product Recommendations: Implement and optimize product recommendation engines to personalize the shopping experience and drive cross-selling and up-selling opportunities.
- Analyze Data & Generate Actionable Insights: Utilize website analytics platforms (Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Looker) and performance data to evaluate site health, promotional performance, and discovery effectiveness, presenting findings and strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Report on Site Merchandising Performance: Regularly communicate site merchandising performance, key findings, and recommendations to leadership and relevant stakeholders.
- Stay Informed of Industry Best Practices: Continuously research and stay updated on the latest ecommerce trends, site merchandising techniques, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
WHAT YOU WILL BRING:
Required Qualifications:
- 5–7+ years of experience in e-commerce, site merchandising, or digital business management.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful site merchandising strategies that have driven measurable improvements in online sales and key performance indicators.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data to identify trends, draw conclusions, and make data-driven decisions.
- Deep understanding of ecommerce best practices, user experience principles, and online customer behavior.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
- Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and/or Google Suite (Sheets, Slides).
- Experience with A/B testing methodologies and tools.
- Knowledge of SEO principles as they relate to product presentation and discoverability is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with website analytics tools (Adobe Analytics) and reporting platforms.
- Familiarity with ecommerce platforms (Salesforce Commerce Cloud) and their merchandising functionalities.
- Experience with personalization and recommendation engines.

Salary Range $75,000 - $126,000*
Compensation for this role varies by geographic location. The listed range reflects multiple markets, including higher-cost areas. Actual starting pay will be determined based on work location, experience, and other job-related factors.
