Job Description Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Responsible AI Framework Specialist to join our AI Centre of Excellence (CoE) within the Chief Data & Analytics Office. This role is critical in supporting the day-to-day operations of our Responsible AI programme and wider AI Strategy, helping the business navigate our frameworks, track adoption, and maintain key tooling and communications.
You will work closely with Responsible AI Specialists, platform teams, and business stakeholders to ensure our Responsible AI and Centre of Excellence processes and standards are understood, adopted, continuously improved and automated where possible. You will support data-driven Responsible AI delivery by providing hands-on data expertise, working with in Responsible AI team and supporting Group Platforms.

Job Description

In this role, you will

  • Tracking & reporting: Maintain and update the Responsible AI Tracker, monitor Workday module completions and support the collation of metrics and insights for internal governance forums and external reporting.
  • SharePoint & knowledge management: Own the upkeep of the Responsible AI SharePoint site, ensuring content is current, and publish updates, guidance, and FAQs to support business understanding and adoption.
  • Support Process Development and Refinement: Supports the development, refinement, improvement and automation of manual processes, working with stakeholders to clarify requirements, reduce complexity, and ensure processes remain effective, consistent, and fit for purpose.
  • Strategic enablement: Support the broader adoption of the AI CoE strategy, contributing to internal communications, training sessions, and community of practice activities.
  • Provide business support: Act as a first-line contact for queries from the business regarding Responsible AI processes and wider AI adoption standards, triaging and escalating technical or strategic queries to the appropriate CoE leads.

You will bring

Essential

  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple operational tasks.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, able to adjust communication styles to suit the audience.
  • Familiarity with AI concepts and responsible AI principles such as fairness, explainability, and privacy.
  • Experience using collaboration tools (e.g., SharePoint, Power BI, Workday, Teams).
  • Comfortable working with data and reporting tools to track progress and surface insights.
  • Familiarity with machine learning lifecycle management (MLOps) and frameworks.

In addition, the following is desirable

  • Experience supporting AI Strategy development and adoption.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non‑technical stakeholders
  • Experience building and deploying AI models in production.
  • Exposure to Responsible AI frameworks or governance processes (e.g., AI Assurance, consequence scanning methodology).
  • Experience in a regulated industry such as banking or insurance.
  • Understanding of change enablement and experience in cloud environments.
  • Experience building or maintaining data pipelines.
