Project Information
ACCIONA Infrastructure delivers major road, rail and civil works across regional Victoria, partnering with government and local communities to build lasting infrastructure. Our regional project teams are based on site, close to the communities they serve, delivering complex works safely and to a high standard.
About the Opportunity
You will protect the integrity of the civil works behind this transmission line. Inspect earthworks, access roads, foundations, concrete and drainage against approved designs, specifications and ITPs (Inspection and Test Plans). You will report to the Lead, Quality and work daily with construction, engineering, surveillance and subcontractor teams. Resolve non-conformances, verify hold points and keep records audit ready through to handover. With multiple construction fronts to cover, you will see the full civil scope and build quality experience on major infrastructure.
Key accountabilities for the position will be:
- Inspect and verify civil works against approved designs, specifications and standards
- Develop and review ITPs for earthworks, roads, foundations, concrete and drainage
- Verify compliance at hold points, witness points and critical milestones
- Record and close out non-conformances, defects and corrective actions with site teams
- Review test results, certifications and subcontractor quality records
- Maintain accurate, audit-ready quality records in project document systems
- Escalate recurring quality risks and support audits and inspections
Required Skills and Competencies
- Tertiary qualification in civil engineering or a related field
- Quality, surveillance, inspection or site engineering experience
- Sound knowledge of civil works and quality systems including ITPs
- Attention to detail and willingness to work across multiple sites
- Desirable: transmission, utilities or major infrastructure work
