Job Title: Senior Software Development Engineer
Department, Level: Viewer Experience, X22
Location: Onsite, Bangalore
Work Type: Full time
Job Summary: As a Senior Software Engineer, you will lead the design and development of core systems that drive JioStar’s advertising capabilities - from ad delivery and targeting to measurement and optimization. You’ll own large-scale projects end to end, operate with autonomy, and play a key role in shaping the architecture and future direction of our high-throughput, low-latency systems. This role is ideal for engineers who thrive on solving hard distributed systems problems and mentoring others toward engineering excellence.
About the Team: JioStar’s Ad Platform is among the top video advertising platforms in India - and we’re aiming higher. With deep expertise across Video-On-Demand, Live Sports, and Ad Monetization, our vision is to build the most effective and scalable adtech ecosystem in the world. Our engineering team builds across the full adtech stack - from high-throughput backend services to deeply integrated, high-impact ad experiences on client platforms. Name a technology, and chances are we’ve worked with it. But more than the tools, it’s the problems we solve that make the work exciting. If you’re excited about building fast, learning continuously, and working on a product that sits at the center of content, monetization, and user experience, we’d love to talk.
