The Lead Analyst, Learning & Development, plays a pivotal role in developing and implementing learning and development strategies to enhance the organization's overall effectiveness. This individual will lead the design and delivery of innovative learning programs, conduct needs assessments, and evaluate training initiatives to measure impact. In addition, the Lead Analyst will analyze learning data, identify trends, and recommend improvements to ensure the effectiveness of the organization's learning programs. They will also collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure that learning and development activities are aligned with business goals and support the organization's growth and success.
Responsibilities:
- Develops and implements training strategies aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to identify and prioritize training needs, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Create and analyze KPIs/data-driven metrics and feedback machanisms to evaluate the effectivess of training program, support internal eficiency, showcase and support stakeholders, through PowerBI, Python and other data tools
- Support configuring and lead the adoption and utilization of Workday Learning for content delivery and program management.
- Identifies and explores innovative learning technologies, including new functionalities in Workday Learning, to enhance the training experience and drive continuous improvement.
- Map and document end-to-end training request workflows, from intake to delivery and reporting, ensuring alignment with AES’s L&D strategy, developing blueprint and learner journey maps to visualize and optimize experience.
- Mentors and guides junior team members in the development and implementation of training programs.
- Lead strategic L&D projects and programs as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, Labor Relations, Data Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Organizational Psychology, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing complex datasets, generating actionable insights, analyzing learning and business performance metrics, and translating data into recommendations that support decision-making.
- Experience leading regional or global projects involving process improvement, reporting, learning operations, and stakeholder management.
- Experience working with Workday or LMS, including reporting, configuration support, learner management, learning analytics, and adoption tracking.
- Advanced proficiency in Power BI for data extraction, cleansing, transformation, validation, dashboard development, reporting, and data visualization.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, Power Query, advanced formulas, and data modeling. Knowledge of SQL and/or other reporting business intelligence tools.
- Experience analyzing KPIs, effectiveness metrics, learner engagement, adoption rates, and business impact indicators.
- Upper-Intermediate to Advanced English level (B2+ or higher), with the ability to participate in meetings, prepare reports, analyze data, and communicate effectively with global stakeholders.
- Familiarity with process mapping and workflow documentation tools (Visio, Lucidchart, Miro, Scrum, or similar) is a plus.
- Experience in Learning Analytics, HR Analytics, Talent Development Operations, People Analytics, Learning Technologies, Business Intelligence or related analytical roles is a plus.
