Sunflower is hiring an AI SEO Lead in our Buenos Aires, Argentina office to own organic search for our clinic website across traditional search and AI discovery. Build the content people trust and the answers AI cites.

You need to be able to create best in class written content yourself, recruit & manage contributors, leverage AI tools/processes, build backlinks, and earn placements in the citations AI uses as references. This is the MOST IMPORTANT ROLE we will be hiring over these next 12 months and will directly be responsible for $1M - $10M+ of annual revenue. 🌻
WHAT YOU’LL OWN
• Execute our SEO and content strategy, from keyword research and editorial planning to publishing, distribution, and measurement.
• Create original content using aggregated data, insights, and consented stories from our user community.
• Partner with psychiatrists and industry experts to co-create authoritative, accurate articles and resources.
• Use AI to accelerate research, analysis, drafting, and content operations, with rigorous editing and source verification.
• Create useful content for Reddit and LinkedIn Articles, tailored to each community and platform.
• Identify the resources AI tools cite for relevant treatment queries, including naltrexone, and earn editorial placements and citations.
• Win quality backlinks through digital PR, outreach, partnerships, and link building.
• Own performance across rankings, qualified organic traffic, conversions, backlinks, and visibility in AI answers.
WHO YOU ARE
• An exceptional English writer and communicator, with recent work that proves it.
• Strong in SEO fundamentals: search intent, keyword research, on-page optimization, internal linking, content strategy, and analytics.
• Comfortable combining excellent content, AI tools, and hands-on distribution.
• Proven track record of earning backlinks and citations.
• Friendly, collaborative, and thoughtful with teammates, clinicians, and our audience.
• Based in Buenos Aires, Argentina (or willing to relocate).
Experience earning citations in AI answers is a strong plus. You don’t need to have mastered every part of this role. Outstanding writing, strong judgment, initiative, and the ability to learn fast matter most.
Our general compensation philosophy is that base salary is heavily DOE & location (ex: SF vs Medellin). Performance compensation will be rewarded regardless of location or background.
