- Utilize manual therapy techniques when appropriate to improve mobility, reduce discomfort, and restore functional movement.
- Assess patient progress, modify treatment plans, and establish appropriate discharge recommendations.
- Provide patient and caregiver education regarding home exercise programs, adaptive techniques, injury prevention, and rehabilitation goals.
- Float to inpatient rehabilitation and home health services as needed to support patient care across settings.
- Collaborate with physicians, physical therapists, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient evaluations, treatment documentation, and progress notes using Meditech EMR.
- Follow established clinical protocols, patient safety standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Support additional rehabilitation department needs to ensure efficient operations and positive patient outcomes.
