Position Overview:
The Warranty Administrator is responsible for processing and managing warranty claims in a timely and accurate manner. This role plays a critical part in ensuring compliance with manufacturer policies while supporting the service department’s efficiency and profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, submit, and track warranty claims according to manufacturer guidelines
- Review repair orders to ensure accuracy and completeness before submission
- Communicate with technicians, service advisors, and manufacturers regarding claim details
- Monitor claim status and follow up on outstanding or rejected claims
- Maintain organized records of all warranty documentation
- Reconcile warranty payments and address discrepancies
- Stay up to date with manufacturer warranty policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in an automotive warranty or service administrative role preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with dealership management systems (DMS) is a plus
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
