Description
We are seeking an Associate to join the FRM Operations team, supporting the FRS Desk. This role offers significant exposure to business units and operations, providing an excellent opportunity for career growth within the firm.
Key Responsibilities:
> Collaborate with the Trading Desk to manage the firm's capital and liquidity.
> Demonstrate strong knowledge of RWA, Realignment, Triparty, and Recalls.
> Oversee daily exposure coverage for bond borrowings with counterparties.
> Ensure accurate booking and confirmation of loans and pledges by coordinating with internal systems, middle office, and counterparties.
> Optimize cash and securities utilization to minimize unencumbered balances.
> Resolve settlement and confirmation issues efficiently, working with relevant teams to address breaks.
> Maintain and enhance operational controls; lead critical projects and process improvements with IT and project teams.
> Analyze complex issues, deliver actionable solutions, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
> Assess risk implications from an operational perspective.
> Coordinate with other operations groups to ensure accurate trade processing and reporting.

What you'll bring to the role:
- Ability to establish clear goals and priorities, and address non-standard issues within area of expertise with minimal guidance and supervision
- Subject matter expertise in business area supported, client requirements, and ability to ensure control is not compromised to comply with client requests
- Culture carrier across Operations, embracing the Firm's core values
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
- Good understanding of Trading booking, matching, pre-matching and Settlement of Repo Bond borrow Collateral
- Strong risk management and control orientation.
- Performance-driven, proactive, and able to set and execute agendas independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities; willing to engage at all levels of detail.
- At least 2 years' relevant experience would generally be expected to find the skills required for this role
