As an Assistant Manager, you'll be the heart of our operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly from open to close. You'll be a hands-on leader who develops our amazing team of pizza makers and drivers, maintains our high standards of quality and cleanliness, and most importantly, develops a great team!
What You'll Be Doing:
- Overseeing day-to-day operations and ensuring guest satisfaction.
- Leading, directing, and supervising both our in-store and delivery teams.
- Maintaining high standards of product quality, service, cleanliness, organization, and sanitation.
- Ordering food and performing nightly inventories.
- Running the store according to Blackjack Pizza & Salads' operating procedures and standards.
- Ensuring staff follow health and safety regulations.
- Stocking ingredients, preparing products, and processing orders.
- Taking inventory and completing associated paperwork.
- Cleaning equipment and the facility daily.
What You'll Bring to the Table:
- Proven experience as a Shift Manager or similar role with responsibility.
- A hands-on, servant leader approach.
- Comfort with food preparation.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational and computer skills.
- A great attitude and comfort in a fast-paced environment.
- A "can-do" attitude with the desire to make a career out of this position.
What You'll Need:
- ServSafe/Food Manager Certification REQUIRED.
- Quick-Serve Pizza Experience REQUIRED (Blackjack Pizza, Domino's, Papa John's, Marcos, etc.).
- 1-2 years of supervisory experience within the food service/retail/customer service industry, including Profit & Loss responsibility.
- Ability to calculate/analyze data.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Basic business math and accounting skills.
- Reliable vehicle and current driver's license.
- Personal computer operations are preferred.
