Customer Service Representative

Position requires outstanding people skills and in-depth knowledge of company products, programs and processes and the ability to communicate effectively with customers. Essential FunctionsRespond to incoming customer phone calls, faxes and emails and provide timely and accurate information concerning orders, returns, shipments, products, product availability, pricing and services.Process customer orders, change notices, returns, credit memos, shipping labels, etc., in accordance with established department policies and procedures.Disseminate customer feedback regarding product issues, service failures or other concerns to internal stakeholders.Establish, build, and maintain stakeholder relationships based on consistent service delivery and trust.Prepare materials for Quilt Market and other shows and events.CompetenciesCustomer focus and service attitude (friendly, courteous and helpful).Communication proficiency, including the ability to clearly converse in English on the phone and in email.Effective research and problem-solving skills.Ability to maintain a professional, calm demeanor under pressure.Basic computer skills, including the ability to navigate screens, send and receive email, and perform basic word processing and spread sheeting tasksRequired Education and ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED, or equivalent years of experience, plus at least one year of customer service experience are required. Preferred Education and ExperienceCollege degree preferred. Work AuthorizationMust be authorized to work in the United States. Benefits: Benartex offers a great benefit package includingMedical PPO, Dental, Vision, and Life InsuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA)Flexible Spending Account (FSA)Generous Paid Time Off (PTO)401(k) with Company matchFlexible Schedules Job Type: Full-time Pay: $40,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceDisability insuranceFlexible spending accountHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offSchedule:Monday to FridayEducation:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Customer Service: 2 years (Required)
