Description
We are looking for a hands-on, customer-oriented Service Technician who enjoys working independently, traveling extensively, and solving technical challenges directly at customer sites.
Responsibilities / Tasks
- Perform service, maintenance, retrofit and modification work on existing equipment and systems, particularly separators and decanters
- Carry out fault diagnosis and troubleshooting at customer sites as well as through remote
- Install, commission and start up new equipment, including:
- Mechanical completion
- I/O checks
- Water runs
- Product trials
- Functional testing and final handover
- Provide technical project support from project kick-off through to successful customer acceptance and final sign-off
- Perform process fine-tuning, equipment adjustments and process optimization to ensure maximum performance and efficiency
- Conduct installation meetings and technical project discussions with customers
- Independently coordinate troubleshooting activities, collaborating with internal engineering, project management and technical support teams when required
- Prepare detailed service reports and technical documentation after the service interventions
- Support customers throughout Croatia and, when required, in neighboring countries such as Hungary and Slovenia
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular on-site visits and professional technical support
Your Profile / Qualifications
- Technical education in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering or a comparable discipline
- Experience in field service, commissioning, maintenance or technical support of industrial equipment
- Knowledge of separation technology, process equipment, rotating machinery, pumps, automation systems or related industrial technologies is considered an advantage
- Hands-on mentality and willingness to work independently
- Ability to manage customer interactions in a professional and solution-oriented manner
- High level of flexibility and willingness to travel extensively
- Strong communication skills
- driver's license (Category B)
- Good command of Croatian and English, both written and spoken
