POSITION TITLE: Credit Services Operator (Non-LO-Administrative/Clerical)
JOB STATUS: Full Time/Hourly

REPORTS TO: Credit Services Team Lead

WORK SCHEDULE:
Fully remote after 1 week in-person training.
M-F 8:30am-5:30pm EST.
PAY: The expected hiring range for this position is from $15.32 to $18.03 plus additional bonus opportunity. The stated hiring range is based on experience, qualifications, and other relevant factors. Final compensation decisions will take into account a variety of considerations, including individual skills, internal equity, and organizational needs
JOB SUMMARY:
The Credit Services Operator is responsible for providing excellent customer service for credit related calls. This position reports to the Credit Services Team Lead and ensures the consumer is routed to the right area that best supports their needs. This position does not negotiate or advise credit terms with consumers.
JOB FUNCTIONS:
Customer Service
Provides excellent customer service by professionally managing inbound calls from Home Centers, applicants, and various departments.
Directs inquiries to the relevant departments as needed.
Handles all Credit Services voicemails daily, promptly forwarding messages to the designated licensed Loan Specialists.
Ensures every phone call is handled professionally and thoroughly.
Policy and Procedures
Adheres to company image through professional service and actions.
Maintains foundational understanding while adhering to VMF internal policies and procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Education: High School diploma or equivalent required
Experience: 0-2 years related experience preferred
Computer competency with navigation ability.
Knowledge of AS400 and LINK a plus.
Previous data entry experience is a plus.
Great attention to detail and organizational skills.
Must be able to navigate a computer system for providing Loan IDs when transferring calls to the appropriate departments.
Must have good telephone etiquette.
Willing to learn, hard-working, determined, and assertive.
Ability to work in a team environment.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 75% of the time.
Constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a telephone, calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
90% communication methods completed over the phone, teams, and through email.
Must be able to exchange accurate information at all times.
Ability to identify and assess account status and determine appropriate process.
Constantly works in an indoor temperature controlled, sealed window office environment.
