You will partner with regional, operational, and functional teams to drive process standardization, compliance, performance visibility, and continuous improvement across Gas Power. This role will also support the development and deployment of the Gas Power problem-solving toolkit, with a focus on system tools, training, competency, and effective adoption across the organization.

Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Serve as the global Subject Matter Expert and process owner for the Stop Work, Cost of Poor Quality, and Management of Change programs within Gas Power Business Operations.
  • Own and maintain applicable QMS documents, standards, workflows, and governance mechanisms for assigned Quality programs.
  • Define, implement, and measure global process standards, KPIs, controls, and reporting routines to monitor program health, compliance, and effectiveness.
  • Drive process standardization, simplification, and adoption across regions, functions, and operating teams.
  • Support internal and external audits, assessments, and operating reviews related to assigned Quality programs.
  • Ensure compliance to process requirements across all levels of the Gas Power organization and partner with stakeholders to address gaps.
  • Analyze program data, trends, and leading indicators to identify risks, improvement opportunities, and read-across actions.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with GE Vernova Quality, Business Operations CoE, and functional partners for assigned program governance, reporting, and improvement priorities.
  • Support the development, deployment, and sustainment of the Gas Power problem-solving toolkit, including system tools, standard work, training materials, and competency requirements.
  • Benchmark best practices and drive read-across, lessons learned, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Provide training, coaching, and awareness to improve process maturity, user capability, and effective adoption.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Quality Management, or equivalent from an accredited university or college.
  • Five years of experience in quality, quality management systems, process governance, process improvement, or structured problem solving.
  • Experience owning or supporting cross-functional Quality programs, standards, audits, compliance routines, or operating mechanisms.
  • Leadership experience in a multi-site, multi-region, or matrixed business environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate process requirements into practical tools, standard work, training, and competency expectations.
  • English fluency.
  • Ability to travel up to 15% for program reviews, audits, training, problem-solving support, and kaizen leadership/participation.

Desired Characteristics

  • You have strong communication and interpersonal/influencing skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across functions, regions, and organizational levels.
  • You have experience operating in a global organization where results are achieved through collaboration, influence, and stakeholder engagement rather than direct line management.
  • You have knowledge of Gas Power or similar industry QMS programs, procedures, governance routines, and compliance expectations.
  • You have experience with Stop Work, Management of Change, Cost of Poor Quality, corrective action, root cause analysis, or structured problem-solving programs.
  • You bring strong data, systems, and reporting capability, with the ability to use insights to drive actions and improve program effectiveness.
  • You are a strong change agent focused on simple, practical execution in a complex global team.
  • You bring strong interpersonal, teaming, leadership, coaching, and engagement skills.
  • You have the ability to organize, energize, motivate, and lead cross-functional teams.
  • You have the ability to drive change and interact cross-functionally in a matrixed environment.
  • You bring a global mindset and ability to manage across cultures and time zones.
  • You have the ability to simultaneously manage multiple priorities, governance routines, and improvement actions.
