COMP RANGE:   $59,000 - $76,000  

Griffith Foods is hiring a Human Resources Specialist to help deliver a seamless employee experience while ensuring our people processes run smoothly and efficiently, serving as a trusted resource for employees and managers.

As a Human Resources Specialist, your responsibilities will include: 

• Coordinating and conducting new hire orientation for all employees reporting to the Lithonia, GA site, including orientation content/materials, preparation, Workday update and E-Verify completion 

• Maintaining and ensuring I-9 compliance for Griffith Lithonia, GA employees. 

• Maintaining employee records in Workday, ensuring new hire information, status changes, and employee updates are accurate and timely. 

• Troubleshooting HRIS access issues for employees and managers, including password resets, account lockouts, and system navigation questions. 

• Maintaining accurate employee document records, including hard-copy personnel files, and ensuring required documents are uploaded and organized in Workday. 

• Participating in the Fun Events Committee by planning, preparing, and supporting activities and events that promote employee engagement for the Lithonia site. 

• Assisting with benefits enrollment process.

Qualified candidates will have: 

• Associate degree or 4 years of relevant HR experience as an equivalent 

• Minimum 1-year Human Resources experience 

• Current location within a commutable distance of Lithonia, GA.  Relocation support is not available. 

• Willingness and ability to work onsite in Lithonia, GA 5 days per week 

• Willingness to flex with work hours as needed. 

• Candidates must currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role. 

What will set you apart: 

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, industrial / org. behavior, psychology, or a related field 

• Experience working in an HCM system such as Workday is a plus. 

• 3+ years Human Resources experience 

• Human Resources certification such as SHRM  

• Experience working in a manufacturing environment 

This role is affiliated to the LITHONIA, GA location, and candidates for this role need to reside within a commutable distance of that location and will be required to come into that location.  You may be asked to travel to other locations periodically for meetings.
